As a kid I loved anything Disney, Marvel or DC related. I was also very fond of anime series like Spider-Man, X-Men, Dragonball, Pokemon, Battletech or Gundam. When it came to movies, the ones that stuck with me were James Bond, Home Alone, Star Wars and anything Van Damme, Schwarzenegger or Stallone. However there was this one Disney movie that was dear to me: Aladdin.

My identity crisis
I’m still a bit shocked… trying to put to words of what I’ve just saw. But let me first try to begin at the beginning. On the podcast Fake Doctors Real Friends (episode 403) Zach Braff suggested everyone to watch Derek DelGaudio’s In & Of Itself. After seeing it, I just had to write something straight away… because what I’m feeling is so profound.

What is grief, if not love, persevering?
The Vision
From episode 8 of the series WandaVision. Trying to console Wanda about the losses she had to endure, Vision tries to give words to what ‘grief’ might be to a person. In doing so he puts in words a feeling I’ve had difficulties formulating in the past.

I usually listen to podcasts, especially Fake Doctors Real Friends, but that is at best only 2 times a week. After trying other podcasts I have come to the conclusion, why not go through my backlog of books?

My ticking timebomb
You don’t have to find out you are dying to start living.
Zach Sobiech
In the movie Clouds (Disney+), Zach mentions this quote a couple of times. My thoughts on the movie will be up some time later, but couldn’t resist posting this quote.
I often have conversations with friends and family about what makes them tick, what makes them happy and what steps to take to pursue it. Finding your bliss will often help in living a (fulfilled) life.
